Employment Transitions for Single Parents

The Employment Transition program is a nine-week group activity-based program. It helps single parents prepare to enter or re-enter the work force. The program offers sessions on parenting, access to community resources, lifeskills/lifestyles, career planning, job readiness, job maintenance and career advancement. Participants may be eligible for financial support to assist with daily incidental, transportation and child care costs. For participants who are successful in obtaining work, an earned income supplement is available.
